On the occasion of thanksgiving, MuscleNerd from iPhone Dev Team has released a promising update on unlock iPhone 4S. He has confirmed that iPhone 4S unlock is in works and we can soon get iPhone 4S unlock.

Musclenerd has posted an image of his work and states that the unlock exploit will work only on iPhone 4S and not on iPhone 3GS or iPhone 4. No much information is provided regarded the details of unlock and release timelines except that it will be “very promising” unlock for iPhone 4S.
However, to unlock iPhone 4S definitely first we will need to jailbreak it. Though the jailbreak for iPhone 4S is not released but it is also being worked upon. Coming weeks seems to be quite interesting as we have now gained a lot of hope in the release of iPhone 4S jailbreak and unlock.
